Special Weather Statement issued May 8 at 6:15PM CDT by NWS Louisville KY

At 614 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles east of Plum Springs, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Smiths Grove, Park City, Three Forks, Red Cross, Pondsville, Rocky
Hill, Hays, Beckton, Stovall, and Berry Store.
