Special Weather Statement issued May 8 at 6:33PM CDT by NWS Louisville KY

At 633 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles west of Glasgow, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Glasgow, Oil City, Bristletown, Red Cross, Pritchardsville, Glasgow
Municipal Airport, Haywood, Beckton, Stovall, and Carden.
