Special Weather Statement issued May 9 at 4:12PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

At 411 PM EDT/311 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles south of Vernon to
8 miles west of Greensboro. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Rock Bluff, Greensboro, Moose Pond, Clarksville, Ocheesee, Juniper,
Selman, Altha, Abe Springs, Bradford, Alford, Chipola, Camps Head,
Holmes Valley, Scotts Ferry, Kennys Mill, Bennett, Bristol, Porter
Lake, and Hugh Creek.
