Special Weather Statement issued May 9 at 4:31PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

At 431 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
St. Marys, moving east at 5 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts around 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
St. Marys, Kings Bay Base, and Dungeness.
