* WHAT…Daytime temperatures in the 90s up to around 103 degrees
expected with overnight low temperatures offering little relief
from the heat.

* WHERE…The Los Angeles and Ventura County Valleys, Santa Monica
and Santa Ynez Mountains, and the southern Salinas Valley.

* WHEN…Until 9 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS…There is a high risk for heat illness for sensitive
populations including the very young, the very old, those without
air conditioning, and those active outdoors.
