Special Weather Statement issued May 11 at 4:39PM EDT by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL

At 439 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles west of Lake Kissimmee to 6 miles west
of Lake Wales to 8 miles southwest of Bartow. Movement was north at
15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Homeland, Alturas, Indian Lake Estates, Crooked Lake Park, Fussels
Corner, Auburndale, Winter Haven Airport, Frostproof, Haines City,
Wahneta, Winston, Fort Meade, Combee Settlement, Hillcrest Heights,
Davenport, Willow Oak, Eagle Lake, Bradley Junction, Highland Park,
and Lakeland Linder Airport.
