Special Weather Statement issued May 11 at 5:30PM MDT by NWS Pocatello ID

At 528 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles northwest of Monteview to near Terreton
to 13 miles northwest of Shelley. Movement was northeast at 55 MPH.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 MPH. This line has a history of
producing multiple measured wind gusts in excess of 50 MPH
on surface weather stations.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Dubois, Small, Hamer, Terreton, Roberts, Mud Lake, Sage Junction,
Menan, Kettle Butte, Monteview, Lewisville, Plano, and Saint Anthony
Sand Dunes.
