following counties, Aiken, Calhoun, Lexington and Orangeburg.
* WHEN…Until 830 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 623 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will
cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches
of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Lexington, West Columbia, Cayce, Springdale, Red Bank, Oak
Grove, Highway 6 at Lake Murray Dam, South Congaree, Pine
Ridge, Gaston, SC State Farmer’s Market, Columbia Metro
Airport, Swansea, Wagener, North, Pelion, Gilbert,
Springfield, Summit and Salley.

Interstate 26 between mile markers 110 and 115.
Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 43 and
62.
