Flood Advisory issued May 12 at 7:09PM EDT until May 12 at 9:15PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall are expected.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following
counties, Bell and Clay.

* WHEN…Until 915 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 709 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Gardner, Skidmore, Queendale, Beverly, Spring Creek and
Creekville.
