Flood Advisory issued May 12 at 7:25AM EDT until May 12 at 9:15AM EDT by NWS Charleston SC

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the
following counties, Allendale and Hampton.

* WHEN…Until 915 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 724 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Allendale County has reported several roads
with water on the roadway. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Allendale, Hampton, Lake Warren State Park, Estill, Fairfax,
Brunson, Gifford, Furman, Scotia and Sycamore.
