Flood Advisory issued May 12 at 7:42AM EDT until May 12 at 10:45AM EDT by NWS Columbia SC

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central South Carolina, including the
following counties, Aiken, Bamberg, Barnwell and Orangeburg.

* WHEN…Until 1045 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 742 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will
cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches
of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Barnwell, Bamberg, Denmark, Williston, Blackville, Barnwell
State Park, Rivers Bridge State Park, Hilda, Snelling, Olar,
Kline, Elko, Windsor, Cope, Govan, Barnwell County Airport,
Aiken Gopher Tortoise Heritage Preserve and Bamberg County
Airport.
