Patrick, Pittsylvania and Roanoke.
* WHEN…From 2 AM EDT Monday through Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are
possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– A slow moving upper level low will move north out of the Gulf
Coast through Tuesday afternoon. This will lead to periods of
moderate to heavy rainfall across portions of northwest North
Carolina and South Central Virginia, and especially across
the Blue Ridge where upslope flow may enhance rainfall
totals. Storm total rainfall of 2 to 4 inches is expected,
with locally higher amounts of 4 to 6 inches possible along
the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge.
