…RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 8 PM MST TUESDAY FOR
STRONG WINDS, LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND HIGH FIRE DANGER FOR
SOUTHERN GILA COUNTY AND THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF NORTHEASTERN PINAL
AND EASTERN MARICOPA COUNTIES…

* AFFECTED AREA…Southern Gila County/Tonto National Forest
Foothills.

* TIMING…In effect from 12 PM this afternoon until 7 PM this
evening and from 10 AM Tuesday morning until 8 PM Tuesday evening.

* WINDS…Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 8 percent.

* IMPACTS…Fuels are dry and fire danger is high. These conditions
combined with low relative humidity and strong winds will lead to
widespread hazardous fire weather conditions.
