Special Weather Statement issued May 11 at 11:30PM CDT by NWS Bismarck ND

At 1129 PM CDT/1029 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of New
Salem to 5 miles south of Flasher. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, New Salem, Wilton, Flasher, Menoken,
Sterling, Almont, Solen, St. Anthony, Shields, Judson, Mckenzie,
Raleigh, Baldwin, Hazelton Recreation Area, University Of Mary, Huff,
and Crown Butte Lake.
