* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Portions of southwest North Carolina, including the
following county, Cherokee and east Tennessee, including the
following counties, Monroe and Polk.

* WHEN…Until 100 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1131 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Tellico Plains, Coker Creek, Mount Vernon, Violet and Citico.
