Flood Advisory issued May 13 at 6:37PM EDT until May 13 at 8:30PM EDT by NWS Louisville KY

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central Kentucky, including the following
county, Nelson.

* WHEN…Until 830 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 637 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Bardstown, Bourbon Springs, Hunters, Withrow, Samuels Field
Airport, Coxs Creek, Samuels, Cravens, Bellwood and East
Bardstown.
