For the Lower Mississippi River…including Red River Landing, Baton
Rouge, Donaldsonville…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Donaldsonville.

* WHEN…Until Sunday, May 25.

* IMPACTS…At 27.0 feet, Navigation becomes difficult for smaller
river craft. Safety precautions for river traffic are urged.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 27.1 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Saturday evening to a crest of 27.2 feet Tuesday, May 20. It
will then fall below flood stage Sunday, May 25.
