The Yukon River is open from Tanana to beyond Kaltag. With water
levels remaining low, stranded ice remains on banks and in side
channels. Above Tanana, from Ft. Yukon to the Tanana River
confluence, the river ice remains intermittently intact and very
degraded. As this ice begins to move out and water levels
eventually rise, ice runs can be expected to continue through the
end of the week.
