Red Flag Warning issued May 12 at 10:15AM MDT until May 12 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Glasgow MT

Unusually warm temperatures and gusty winds will lead to near
critical fire weather conditions today. A surface pressure trough
running from Jordan to Wolf Point to Sheridan County will become
the focal point for thunderstorms and downdraft winds could be
just enough to generate critical fire weather conditions.

* AFFECTED AREA…Fire weather zones 120, 122, 136, and 137.

* WIND…Southwest at 15 to 25 mph gusting as high as 35 mph.

* HUMIDITY…as low as 13 percent.

* THUNDERSTORMS… Isolated storms are expected along a line from
Jordan to Wolf Point to Plentywood in the late afternoon through
the evening hours. Any downburst winds could create severe
gusts/outflow causing sudden fire runs.

* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly
toward the northeast. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
