Special Weather Statement issued May 12 at 8:39PM EDT by NWS Columbia SC

At 838 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Louisville, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph. This storm has shown signs of
rotation and may be capable of producing a tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Hephzibah, Midville, Gough, Blythe, Keysville, Vidette, Leitner Lake
Conference Center, Di-Lane Wildlife Management Area, Bath-
Edie, Pea Patch Aerodrome, Magruder, Ellwood, Colemans Lake, and
Rosier.
