…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama…

Tombigbee River Near Leroy affecting Washington and Clarke
Counties.

For the Tombigbee River…including Coffeeville Dam – upstream,
Coffeeville Dam, Leroy…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE…Tombigbee River near Leroy.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, flooding of low lying farm and
pasturelands begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to
higher ground. Water approaches low lying roads on west side of
river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.5
feet Friday evening.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

Gusty and erratic winds from thunderstorms are also possible, with gusts up to 45 mph. * WHERE...Western Nevada Basin and Range including Pyramid Lake. * WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions improve.

* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected. * WHERE...Western Clark and Southern Nye County. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.Strong crosswinds are expected on area roadways, including US-95 between Desert Rock and Indian Springs.
