Youghiogheny River At Connellsville affecting Fayette County.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Youghiogheny River at Connellsville.
* WHEN…From Wednesday afternoon to tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS…At 12.0 feet, Flooding begins in the vicinity of Yough
Park.
At 14.0 feet, Several inches of water floods basements of about 30
homes along left bank. River is bankful along the left bank just
downstream from the Crawford Street Bridge. Water reaches the
level of the Hurricane Ivan flood of September 18, 2004.

– At 9:15 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 4.5 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage to 12.1 feet
early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
late tomorrow afternoon to 5.7 feet early Friday afternoon.
It will rise to 6.2 feet early Saturday morning. It will then
fall again and remain below flood stage.
