Flood Warning issued May 14 at 12:40AM EDT until May 14 at 6:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA

* WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
continues.

* WHERE…A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
counties, Bedford and Somerset.

* WHEN…Until 600 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be
passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1239 AM EDT, Emergency management reported that flooding
continues near Meyersdale, Bonton, and Salisbury. Several
feet of water are reported to be on some roadways, especially
along streams and creeks. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are possible
in the warned area. Inundation flooding will continue along
streams and creeks.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Somerset, Meyersdale, Berlin, Friedens, New Centerville,
Mount Davis, Lake Gordon, Hyndman, Rockwood, Salisbury,
Garrett, Indian Lake, Shanksville, Wellersburg, New
Baltimore, Casselman, Callimont and Flight 93 National
Memorial.
