Flood Warning issued May 14 at 8:27AM EDT until May 14 at 11:30AM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central Indiana, including the following
counties, Hamilton, Johnson and Marion.

* WHEN…Until 1130 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of creeks, streams, low lying spots on roads
and construction zones, and other low-lying and flood-prone
locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 825 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2.25 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible
in the warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Greenwood,
Lawrence, Franklin, Beech Grove, Speedway, Southport,
Westfield, New Whiteland, Cumberland, Edinburgh, Whiteland,
Bargersville, and Fortville.
