Special Weather Statement issued May 14 at 7:14AM CDT by NWS Bismarck ND

At 713 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
International Peace Garden, or 19 miles northeast of Bottineau,
moving north at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
International Peace Garden.
