Fog over Lake Michigan has drifted inland across northern and
northeast Illinois this morning, some of which has become locally
dense. Be prepared for sudden changes in visibility to one
quarter mile or less, with conditions improving by around 10 AM
CDT. If you encounter fog while driving, slow down, use your low-
beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
