Flood Advisory issued May 15 at 12:22AM EDT until May 15 at 2:15AM EDT by NWS Upton NY

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast New York, including the following
county, Suffolk.

* WHEN…Until 215 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1222 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Southold, Southampton, Sag Harbor, Noyack, Shelter Island,
Greenport, Shinnecock Hills, Peconic, North Sea, Cutchogue,
Water Mill and North Haven.
