Flood Watch issued May 14 at 4:00PM EDT until May 15 at 12:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC

* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE…Portions of western Maryland, including the following
areas, Central and Eastern Allegany, Eastern Garrett, Extreme
Western Allegany and Western Garrett, Virginia, including the
following areas, Albemarle, Augusta, Central Virginia Blue Ridge,
Culpeper, Eastern Highland, Frederick VA, Greene, Madison, Nelson,
Northern Virginia Blue Ridge, Orange, Page, Rappahannock,
Rockingham, Shenandoah, Spotsylvania, Warren and Western Highland,
and West Virginia, including the following areas, Eastern Grant,
Eastern Mineral, Eastern Pendleton, Hampshire, Hardy, Morgan,
Western Grant, Western Mineral and Western Pendleton.

* WHEN…Until midnight EDT tonight.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more
heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Numerous showers and thunderstorms will move gradually
northward through the area through this evening. While not as
widespread as yesterday, isolated rainfall amounts of 1 to 3
inches are possible in a one to two hour period. Should these
rainfall amounts occur over sensitive or urban areas, flash
flooding is possible.
