Showers and storms will be possible through the rest of the
afternoon into the evening. The greatest potential for showers and
storms favors areas along and west of I-75 and southeast toward
Saginaw Bay. Given the anomalously humid air mass in place, some
of these storms will produce downpours that could lead to rapidly
changing visibilities for those traveling, along with a quick
onset of wet to even ponded roadways. Localized rainfalls in
excess of 2 inches are possible by this evening, but not everyone
is going to see rainfall given the localized nature of the
showers and downpours. Severe storms are not anticipated, but any
given storm may cause some gusty winds and small hail.
