…FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH
SUNDAY EVENING DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR
THE LITTLE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY IN APACHE COUNTY…

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a Fire
Weather Watch due to strong winds and low relative humidity,
which is in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday
evening. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued from Sunday
morning through Sunday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA…Locations near Eagar-Springerville and Saint
Johns.

* WINDS…Southwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts 35 to 40 mph Saturday.
West-southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts 35 to 45 mph Sunday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…8 to 11 percent Saturday, 12 to 16 percent
Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop or are ongoing will have the
potential to spread rapidly.
