– At 1010 AM EDT, river gages showed water levels were still
slowly rising south of Orangeburg along the North Fork of the
Edisto River and southeast of Bamberg along the South Fork of
the Edisto River. These elevated flood waters will work
through the Edisto River over the next few days resulting in
flooding along and near the river. Although widespread, major
flooding is unlikely, water may approach or impact homes,
structures and roadways along the river.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Branchville and Rowesville.
