Mississippi…Louisiana…

Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Wilkinson, Adams and
Concordia Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Natchez.

* WHEN…Until Monday, May 26th.

* IMPACTS…At 51 feet, water is covering the roads in old downtown
area of Fort Adams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 50.2 feet and nearly
steady.
– Forecast…The river will fall slowly and is expected to fall
below flood stage Sunday, May 25th.
– Flood stage is 48 feet.

Strongest winds are expected across the central Sacramento Valley, along and west of Interstate 5. * Humidity...15 to 25 percent. * Highest Threat...Central and Southern Sacramento Valley along and west of the I-5 corridor and the Northern San Joaquin Valley. * Impacts...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity.
