Longview, Beckville, Logansport…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Sabine River near Gladewater.

* WHEN…Until late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS…At 29.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding to continue with
oil field operations curtailed.

– At 9:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 27.6 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 PM CDT Thursday was 27.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Saturday morning and continue falling to 17.9 feet Tuesday
evening.
