Straits of Mackinac within 5 nm of Mackinac Bridge including

* Until 115 AM EDT.

* At 1213 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Point
Patterson to 8 nm northeast of Beaver Island to near The Mouth Of
Little Traverse Bay, moving northeast at 35 knots.

HAZARD…Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
hail.

SOURCE…Radar.

IMPACT…Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
