Special Weather Statement issued May 15 at 8:03PM EDT by NWS Marquette MI

At 803 PM EDT/703 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Winchester to 9 miles
southwest of Watersmeet to near Crystal Lake Scout Reservation.
Movement was northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Marenisco, Watersmeet, Bergland, Bruce Crossing, Paulding, Northern
Lake Gogebic, Trout Creek, Presque Isle Reservoir, Pomeroy Lake, Lake
Gogebic State Park, Thousand Island Lake, Bond Falls, Ewen, and
Merriweather.
