Special Weather Statement issued May 16 at 7:25AM CDT by NWS Louisville KY

At 725 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Central City, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hartford, Beaver Dam, Mchenry, Rockport, Horse Branch, Steff, Windy
Hill, Flint Springs, Neafus, and Dogwalk.
