The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Northern Macon County in central Illinois…

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 733 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 3 miles north of Niantic, or 8 miles west of
Decatur, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Decatur and Forsyth around 740 PM CDT.
Oreana around 745 PM CDT.
Argenta around 750 PM CDT.

This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 135 and 155.
