Hydrologic Outlook issued May 16 at 10:09AM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK

ESFAFG

The Yukon River is open from Tanana to about 10 miles downstream of
Mountain Village as of Thursday afternoon. Thermally degraded and
lifted ice remains in the middle and south mouths and at Emmonak and
Alakanuk. Ice runs from upstream of Tanana continue as ice degrades
between Beaver and Rampart. Heavy ice runs are still being seen
along many stretches of the Yukon. Water levels remain low, however
if an ice jam forms at the breakup front, water levels could rise
quickly behind it causing localized minor flooding. River Watch
flights are done for the season.
