Special Weather Statement issued May 17 at 8:32AM EDT by NWS Burlington VT

At 831 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Lisbon to near Fine. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Morley, Conifer, Potsdam, South Edwards, Degrasse, Pierrepont, West
Stockholm, West Potsdam, Tupper Lake, Newton Falls, Childwold,
Piercefield, West Pierrepont, East De Kalb, Parishville, Aldrich,
Carry Falls Reservoir, Lisbon, Waddington, and Clifton.
