At 840 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Frankfort, or over Ilion, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Ingham Mills, Jersalem Hill, West Frankfort, Spinnerville, Corrado
Corners, Curtis, Countryman, North Ilion, Gulph, Lotville, Rasbach
Corner, Knappville, Burrell Corners, South Ilion, Kelhi Corners,
Fical Corners, Chepachet, Shedd Corners, Columbia Center, and Stewart
Corners.

This includes Interstate 90 between exits 29A and 30.

Less Than 1 Week Left To Apply for FEMA Assistance Following February Severe Storms and Flooding FRANKFORT, Ky. – Homeowners and renters in Breathitt, Clay, Estill, Floyd, Harlan, Johnson, Knott, Lee, Leslie,  Letcher, Martin, Owsley, Perry, Pike, Simpson and Woodford counties who experienced damage or losses caused by  the February severe storms and floods have less than 1 week to apply for federal disaster assistance. Disaster Recovery Center Opens in McLean County FRANKFORT, Ky. –A Disaster Recovery Center has opened in McLean County to offer in-person support to Kentucky survivors who experienced loss as the result of the April severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides and mudslides.
