The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a Red Flag
Warning for strong and gusty winds, low relative humidity, and
high fire danger, which is in effect from 10 AM to 8 PM MST
Monday.
* AFFECTED AREA…Fire Weather Zones 151, 152, 153 and 154.
* TIMING…For the first Red Flag Warning, from 10 AM this
morning to 8 PM MST this evening. For the second Red Flag
Warning, from 10 AM to 8 PM MST Monday.
* WINDS…West to southwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40
mph on Sunday and west to northwest at 20 to 30 mph with gusts
up to 45 mph on Monday.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…Ranging 9 to 15 percent.
* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop or are ongoing will have the
potential to spread rapidly.
