Special Weather Statement issued May 17 at 11:14PM CDT by NWS Corpus Christi TX

At 1114 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 14 miles northwest of Las Tiendas, or 29 miles west of
Encinal, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Chupadera Ranch Airport and La Esperanza Ranch Airport.

This includes US Highway 83 between mile markers 668 and 682.
