Special Weather Statement issued May 18 at 7:35AM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK

At 735 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm 5 miles
northwest of Tulsa, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
is possible.
