Winter Weather Advisory issued May 17 at 3:03PM MDT until May 18 at 6:00PM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 5 to 10 inches
above 8000 feet, locally up to 15 inches in the upper Cottonwoods
above 10,000 feet.

* WHERE…The Wasatch Mountains, Western Uinta Mountains, and
Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs.

* WHEN…From 3 AM to 6 PM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Winter driving conditions are expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A strong cold front will bring a band of
moderate to heavy snow early Sunday morning into early Sunday
afternoon. Snow will shift to a showery mode in northwest flow
Sunday afternoon, with the heaviest additional accumulations in
areas that do well in northwest flow.
