At 726 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles northwest of
Olpe, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include…
Emporia.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35 between mile markers 129 and 134.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 119 and 123.
