Flood Advisory issued May 19 at 9:15PM MDT until May 20 at 6:15AM MDT by NWS Billings MT

* WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
continues.

* WHERE…Sheridan County.

* WHEN…Until 615 AM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…River or stream flows are elevated and near bankfull in
many areas. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas is
expected to occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 854 PM MDT, Emergency Management and Public Reports
indicate the Smith Creek near Dayton, Little Goose Creek near
Sheridan, and Piney Creek near Story are bankfull. The Tongue
River near Dayton is also near Bankfull.
– Connor State Park in Ranchester has been closed due to rising
waters on the Tongue River.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Sheridan, Ranchester, Dayton, Big Horn, Parkman and Banner.
