…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Oklahoma…

Illinois River near Watts affecting Adair and Delaware Counties.

Illinois River near Tahlequah affecting Cherokee County.

Illinois River at Chewey affecting Adair, Cherokee and Delaware
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Illinois River near Watts.

* WHEN…From this morning to tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, minor flooding occurs from the Arkansas
border to near Fidler’s Bend. Permanent campgrounds are affected.
Extreme turbulence makes the river unsafe for floating.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 14.5 feet this evening. It
will then fall below flood stage late tonight.
– Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Yazoo River At Yazoo City affecting Yazoo County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Yazoo River at Yazoo City. * WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Minor over bank flooding is occurring along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 28.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 29 feet.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 20 at 8:35PM CDT until May 20 at 9:15PM CDT by NWS Jackson MS

At 835 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Myrleville to Satartia, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. These severe storms will be near... Bentonia, Myrleville, Little Yazoo, and Tinsley around 840 PM CDT.
