Foggy conditions and low clouds throughout North Florida will gradually lift and dissipate this morning as the sun continues to rise.
High pressure continues to dominate across the Sunshine State bringing mostly sunny conditions during the daytime hours.
The sea breeze moving inland along will allow for brief isolated showers across East-Central Florida this afternoon and evening (15-20% chance of rain).
Summertime heat and humidity will continue today with high temperatures reaching the lower to middle 90s this afternoon.
Heat index values, or feels-like temperatures, will reach themiddle to upper 90s across the Panhandle and theupper 90s to lower 100s throughout the Peninsula.
Locally higher values upwards of 105-degrees cannot be ruled out across interior portions of the Peninsula.
Any showers that develop during the day will quickly move offshore or dissipate through the evening hours, and mostly dry conditions will return statewide.
Instances of patchy fog will be possible early Tuesday morning, with instances of locally dense fog possible throughout North Florida.
Low temperatures will fall into the upper 60s to lower 70s across North Florida, middle 70s across Central Florida and upper 70s to lower 80s across South Florida.
Amoderate risk for rip currents can be expected along Panhandle beaches due to persist onshore winds. All other beaches can expect a low risk.
