Flood Advisory issued May 20 at 11:57PM EDT until May 21 at 3:00AM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central North Carolina, including the
following county, Forsyth.

* WHEN…Until 300 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1157 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Winston-Salem, Clemmons, Lewisville, Walkertown,
Stanleyville, Pfafftown, Sedge Garden, Belews Creek and
Belews Lake.
