Foggy conditions and low cloudsthroughout the state will gradually lift and dissipate throughout the morning hours.
High pressure will gradually slide eastward towards the western Atlantic today, but will still create mostly dry conditions throughout most of the state.
An approaching cold front will sink into the Southeast U.S. may bring isolated showers this afternoon and early this evening along the Panhandle, with a possible embedded thunderstorm or two (10-15% chance of rain).
The daily sea breeze may allow for brief showers to develop this afternoon along the Space Coast and eastern Peninsula (15-20% chance of rain).
High temperatures will continue to reach the lower to middle 90s, withfeels-like temperatures reaching the middle 90s to lower 100s.
Portions of interior Northeast Florida and the interior Peninsula will approach or reach themiddle 100s and remaining just below heat advisory criteria.
Shower activity should dissipate or push offshore this evening along the Panhandle, but a few brief showers may continue overnight along the eastern Peninsula.
Instances of fog will be possible statewide early Wednesday morning, with instances of locally dense fog possible.
Low temperatures will fall into the 70s and lower 80s statewide overnight.
A high risk for rip currents returns to all Panhandle beaches due to stronger onshore winds. Amoderate risk for rip currents can be expected along Northeast Florida beaches as well.
